Carnelian is your totem mineral. Native Americans believed the people born of this time to be demanding by nature. Proud, energetic, confident, enthusiastic, generous, and creative. They can also be commandeering, arrogant, and intolerant with a conscious aim to rule. Carnelian is believed to be the stone of integrity. Among Native Americans, was often a symbol of strength and beauty of the Earth. Carnelian gives the ability to stimulate and stir into action. It softens anger and disperses strife. It promotes contentment. Carnelian helps the wearer when the urge is to dominate or act impulsively. It helps develop self-control. It is a stone of blood and so helps strengthens family unity.
