Turquoise is your totem mineral. Native Americans believed people born of
this time to be friendly, unconventional, independent, and dynamic with a
humanitarian nature. They can be inventive, reforming, perceptive, and also
unpredictable, rebellious, tactless, and eccentric. Their conscious aim is
knowledge. Turquoise is a sensitive stone which is said to absorb harmful
vibrations and loses its color if its wearer is unwell or in harms way. Native
Americans wore Turquoise as protection when going into battle; it was known
that the turquoise would shatter before bones. Turquoise was also known as
the stone of the sky, meaning the mystical realm. People of this time might
find themselves attracted to mystical things and challenge themselves to find
the balance between physical and spiritual. It enhances understanding, brings
a sense of calm and peacefulness because it balances energies. Turquoise can
enhance the wearer’s healing abilities. Turquoise is said to bring out
the meaning and purpose in any situation when used in meditation.
